In life there are many benefits to waiting. After all, enduring the challenge of waiting produces patience and builds character, right? But what happens when we wait so long that time passes us by? I believe we should say “yes” more often. The answer to anything you want or need is usually been a resounding “no” because there’s always a reason or an excuse why not to do something you want to do. And truth be told: No is easy.
It’s not the right time.
I need to lose weight.
It’s too expensive.
I don’t have time for it.
Jenelle waited two years to have a session and even after her husband had purchased a gift card for her to have a session, a year and a half had passed before she finally made the decision to say “yes” to her session. Here’s what she had to say after her boudoir experience with us.
“The main fear holding me back from having a session was that I hadn’t reached my goal weight yet and the other was feeling like I didn’t know how to pose in a “sexy” manner. To some, it seems to come naturally. I tend to feel goofy or awkward but after having this experience, I would tell any woman to love your body at whatever stage you’re in.
Whether you’re 25 or 45. Whether you’re post-pregnancy or in your 2nd trimester. Whether you’re in the middle of a fitness journey or just beginning. You’re beautiful at every stage.
Sexiness and femininity is not about being a certain size or wearing certain clothing. It’s about your mindset. So, fall in love with yourself and know that you are beautiful, sexy, and exude all things feminine.”
The car, the house, the kids (insert some other variable). There’s always something but will you allow it to stand in your way any longer? If one of your negative behaviors is self-denial, I’d like to encourage you to start saying “yes”. It’s time to own your worth and the benefit of treating yourself every once in a while.
Don’t let time pass you by. It moves much faster than we realize. Don’t wait another month, another year, not another decade. Do the thing because YOU’RE WORTH IT!
