“One photograph is powerful enough to not only remind you of an event or detail, but can bring you right back to the feelings, sounds, and even smells of the moment.” – Unknown
Photography is important to me because it’s a powerful tool to help you remember who you were then and who you are now. I started shooting when I was 16 years old. Photography saved my life and pulled me out of depression so deep I thought there was no way I’d live through it. There is a therapy in the experience of being photographed and documenting yourself in that moment in time.
There is a therapy in collaborating and creating.
Whether you’re going in, going through and coming out–Document this time in your life.
