I went into the business of empowering women because we’re the bomb. Plain and simple. We are the backbone of families and communities. We are strong, powerful, and resilient.
And just as just as we are praised for showing up strong for others, we should be showing up for ourselves. There was a time where I felt I had to hide who I truly was for fear I’d be “too extra” or “not enough” for someone. It only hurt me in the process and it also robbed others of truly experiencing the fullness I had to offer. Then I decided enough was enough.
As I began to find my own voice, I wanted to helped other women find theirs as well. We should be celebrating our successes loudly and supporting one another through struggles.
We shouldn’t be afraid to be honest about our feelings, dreams, and goals. If you need a little guidance, here are 5 ways to proudly embrace your womanhood.
Cultivate your style. Dress to fit your personality and make it authentic to you no matter others think.
Don’t be afraid to take up space and make your voice heard in challenging situations.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help. As hard as it may be, recognize that you don’t have to do everything alone.
Don’t be afraid to be strong. Being strong doesn’t mean tough or struggling. It’s about having the courage to be vulnerable and open.
Don’t be afraid to celebrate the incredible power of being a woman. It’s time to own your strength and beauty.
I encourage you to take more risks and push yourself outside your comfort zone. Embrace your femininity and honor your inner wisdom–it’ll never mislead you.
