And what exactly are your waiting for, the right time? I know you’ve heard this before and I’ll say it here and now. Keep waiting and the right time will never come and if you are in fact waiting for a signal from the universe, consider this to be it!

After waiting so long to start a business, quit a job I hated or take that dream vacation, I’ve learned that nothing just comes to you. Nothing falls in your lap. You’ve got to actively pursue what it is you want. There’s a quote by Aryn Kyle that goes, “Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Take the moment and make it perfect.”

Get aligned with yourself and what you want, take control and take the steps to make it happen. If you want a photo shoot, dare to do one, scared or not. That is where you find yourself. That is where you make progress to becoming all that you aspire to be, by taking control and doing something for you.

I’ll leave you with this: A client came for a session to celebrate her 52nd birthday and when we wrapped her session, she raved about what a great time she’d had and how before even seeing the photos, she was in love with the experience of it all. She’d been wanting to have a shoot done since she was in her late 20s and her only regret was that she hadn’t done it sooner.
